We have been keeping busy building out key features to make our events, sponsor, and corporate membership functionality work even better for our customers.
Custom Attributes for Companies
This week the Tradewing product team delivered a top feature request: custom attributes for companies. These attributes can be created and managed on the admin site, and the company attribute values can be bulk imported and exported from the companies table. (The old Sponsor Categories page and options have been converted into a multiselect custom attribute called "Categories" and now applies to any company in the Tradewing platform.)
Company Account Owners and Page Admins can update their attributes and who is allowed to view them by visiting their company profile.
Corporate Membership Signup Forms (and the ability to mark fields as optional)
In addition to being able to create custom attributes that appear on company profiles, you can now configure corporate membership types with attributes that can (or must!) be filled out by company account owners during the membership checkout process. To add attributes to a corporate membership checkout flow, visit the membership type page on the admin site.
Corporate Member and Sponsor Search (and the ability to now search for multiselect attributes)
Another exciting update: we've improved the corporate member and sponsor search experiences in the member site directories. Users can now search for companies by any default or custom attributes marked as "searchable" on the admin site. The search experience for companies and individual members also now includes the ability to search and filter by multiselect attributes.
External Event Registration
Our latest update is an expansion to our events offering: ticketed events can now link to an external registration system, which users will be redirected to to complete their registration. In order to accurately represent users' event registration status within Tradewing when completed in an external platform, you can upload a list of registrants to the event in the admin site.
